Sullastres plays in the Spanish First Division, the top category in the league of the 10th ranked European WNT, as shown in the first reference. In addition she has played a full UEFA-sanctioned official qualifying match for the 2012 UEFA Women's U-19 Championship, a notable international event, as shown in the second reference.

I realize the Spanish women's top division is not a fully professional league, but there should be different standards for men's and women's football considering in male football's most leagues are fully professional while in women's football it's just a few; in the context of international women's football the Spanish league is at least as notable as the Gambrinus liga in men's. If we only recognize players from fully professional leagues we would only have Bundesliga, WPS and Damallsvenskan players, which means ignoring 99% of top level women's football, which is shown just as competitive in competitions such as the Women's World Cup. By not considering the players from prominent semi-professional European women's leagues such as France, Italy and Spain's suitable for the website Wikipedia would be approving of discrimination in sports. I think Wikipedia has to address this matter. Pakhtakorienne (talk) 18:44, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I tagged the article for being out of date (she's left Barca) and needing a rewrite, particularly the last section. I'll remember to come back and do it myself at some point. Clavdia chauchat (talk) 23:11, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
